NCFREE predicts Dwight Shook will win 45th Senate seat
Group forecasts Shook defeating Goss is November elections
Taylorsville, NC—The North Carolina Forum for Research & Economic Education
(NCFREE) recently named conservative Republican Dwight Shook as the likely
winner in the race for the 45th NC Senate seat. Shook is challenging Democrat
Steve Goss in the 2008 election.
"We need accountability and honesty in Raleigh and I am pleased that NCFREE
recognized that my campaign's call for principled leadership is resonating with
the people of this district," Shook said. "I know that by cutting taxes and
pushing for ethical leadership we can make our state's economy stronger and our
government more accountable."
